To use this site you will need to first register you will then have the options to:

• School Admissions - when the school admissions rounds are open you will be able to apply for a school place to start in Reception or transfer to Year 7 in Secondary school for the start of the new academic year.

  Before completing your application, we recommend that you read the Educating Your Child booklet and the admission policies for the schools you wish to apply for. These documents can be found on the school admissions webpages at www.iow.gov.uk/schooladmissions where you can select the relevant page for further information.

  By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read the Educating Your Child booklet and the relevant admission policies, and that you understand the school admissions process for the school(s) named on your application.

• Apply for free school meals.

• Apply for Early Learning for Two Year Olds – 15 hours of funded childcare for families in England who get extra support, like those on Universal Credit or children with EHCP. Please check your eligibility, the criteria can be found on https://www.beststartinlife.gov.uk.

  ***Please note – Applications for the Working Parent Entitlements (including the additional 15 hours for children already receiving the Early Learning for 2 year old entitlement) CANNOT be made using the Citizens Portal – Applications must be made on the GOV.UK website www.gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account.

If you have used this application system previously, your child may already be registered.
